Born in Caen in Normandy, North West of France in 1985, Damien first came to London in 2008 to work for Philippe Vandewalle at the Ritz Club as a commis Chef.
Damien returned to Deauville, Normandy in 2010, joining a prestigious 5 star hotel, le Royal Barriere, working for two years as a Chef de Partie at Michelin star restaurant l’Etrier.
Damien came back to London in the Summer 2012 to work in the famous restaurant Bistrot Bruno Loubet near King’s Cross.
Damien was awarded 1st place by the prestigious Escoffier national competition, in October 2012. He was then awarded 3rd place at the International final in Venice in 2013.
In 2013, together with his friend and associate Christopher Nespoux, he founded Gastronhome, a catering and private dining concept, which promotes traditional and regional French cuisine with a modern touch.
