The roaring success of the first edition Moët Party Day in 2016. which was held in 45 countries around the world, inspired the Maison to confirm it as an annual rendezvous. This year, 80 countries joined the 24-hours celebration from 12:00:00 in New Zealand to the end of the night in Mexico and beyond.
Last Saturday, Glasgow joined cities such as London, Manchester and Birmingham, as the UK reps for the worldwide party. Celebrations began at 1pm at The Social on Glasgow’s Royal Exchange Square with a Moët Ice Imperial White Party.
With the music augmenting the style and glamour of Moët, as well as special surprise giveaways, it was an event to remember! White dress code was optional, however most of the guest embraced the spirit of the party.
Guests enjoyed this summer’s must-try champagne, Moët Ice Impérial, also known as ‘La Piscine’ – champagne served on the rocks and summer-inspired platters including Smoked Salmon & Lemon Cream Cheese Rotolo, Sun-blushed Tomato Arancini, Mini Chicken Caesars, Goats Cheese & Pomegranate Crostini, Chocolate Mousse & Raspberry Sherbet, Strawberry Candy Floss and Vanilla Cupcakes with Toffee Butter Icing.
We enjoyed sipping on the refreshing glass of Moët Ice Imperial. Fresh, vibrant and served over ice, this first-of-its-kind champagne has been conceived for sharing over good vibes with friends, from beachfronts and pool sides to roof tops.
As the world’s most celebrated Champagne marque, Moët & Chandon embodies an unequalled spirit of celebration and is synonymous with seizing the moment at the most exciting occasions.
Moët Ice Impérial was created in 2011 by Chef de Cave Benoît Gouez to provide a Champagne that retains its balance even when poured over ice. Ice Impérial is dominated by Pinot Noir and Meunier, giving the champagne a richness that the ice is said to amplify.
We could not have chosen a better way to spend Saturday afternoon sitting outside The Social, drinking the best champagne and sampling summer snacks.
